About Our Private Tours

Private expeditions are all about you and your group and your requirements. We work together with you to check off all the boxes and put together the perfect holiday, whether it be a private wildlife safari or a climbing expedition or a trek.

There is also the chance to adapt any of our itineraries to suit, for example someone may want to climb Kilimanjaro and Mt Kenya and also go on a safari. This is very much our area of experience. Similarly someone wishing to aim for a 7000m mountain may want to have a 3 year plan towards that aim, and we can assist with the thinking behind that too.

We have been running adventure holidays now since 1995, and we have a lot of collective knowledge to share which will hopefully work for you.

School Trips Abroad

We offer trips for student groups to a variety of locations. Together we work with our sister charity Moving Mountains in Kenya, Nepal and  Tanzania. The experiences focus on connecting students with local community and the landscape and the culture and with the work of the charity.

We have been organising school trips abroad since 1995 and worked closely with many schools across the United Kingdom and Ireland. We focus a lot on the values of the schools and the aims, and the itinerary itself is quite adaptable. We incorporate teachers costs into the overall cost per student and provide a lot of pre-trip visits and information to make sure everyone is well prepared. We are interested very much in the values and ethics of these trips, and traditionally the school trips have been a big boost for the charity which is a priority for us.

Our student school trips to Nepal can last 22 days. Some trips go as far as visiting the villages only and these can be 12 days, while others carry on up the valleys to reach the heights of Everest base camp. Students and faculty alike immerse themselves in the local Sherpa community and we focus on presenting our various social projects. A proportion of the trip fee goes towards the schools in the villages where we fund teachers salaries, books and renovations.

Another popular trip is our Kenya School Trip or one to Tanzania. We interact with many schools in Kenya, which we have been funding since the 1990s via Moving Mountains. This trip directly impacts schools and often clinics and rescue centres too. The trip fee allows us to run our programmes for disadvantaged children and the summer camps we run every year are an excellent opportunity for students to connect with their peers.

Mountain Expeditions And Trekking Holidays

Climbing a mountain is one of the most challenging and rewarding experiences. A climb in a foreign land combines the joys and wonders of travel with the challenge of peak climbing. We offer guided trips up many of the world’s well known peaks, and some of the Seven Summits. Company Director has climbed all of the seven summits many times now and is in a good position to provide advice on how to achieve the task.

If you are a well-seasoned mountaineer and you aim to climb the world’s tallest mountain, we offer small guided trips up Mount Everest. We cover everything in terms of permits, Sherpa teams, guides, oxygen, and base camp logistics.

Mount Kenya is another popular option for a group that wants to climb either of the two technical peaks, Nelion and Batian. These trips are almost always private tours and require an amount of rock climbing experience.

We offer a great opportunity to trek along Spain’s stunning Sierra Nevada range. This lesser-known destination is full of stunning mountain vistas, fantastic food, and charming villages. Los Tres Miles, our chosen route, treks along the high peaks of the Sierra Nevada’s without the intense altitude gains and losses. A perfect trek for a group looking to enjoy the mountains without too much strenuous activity.

Charity Expeditions

A great way to enjoy a holiday with your group is to make it a charity expedition. We have an entire page dedicated to our charity trip offerings, and we are happy to work with you to take any of our itineraries and help you create a charity trip out of your climb or trek.

One of our most popular group charity climbs is Mount Kilimanjaro. Kilimanjaro, located in Tanzania, is the tallest mountain in Africa and one of the Seven Summits. What better way to enjoy Africa than to climb to the tallest point for a good cause? This trip can also be combined with a private safari for your group.

Specialized Group Travel

If your group is engaged in specialized travel, such as a film crew, research team, or office group we would love to help you stay on track. We will work with you and your crew to personally organize and plan the logistics for your journey.

We work with you and your specific needs in areas we operate in order to connect you on the ground with our local guides and community to help you with whatever you may need. If you’re planning a special retreat for your office, we’d love to help.
