Tailor Made Kenya Safari Holidays
We aim to provide the perfect safari itinerary for families and groups who want an itinerary that fits their needs. From which parks to visit to see the Big Five or certain animals, to the best type of accommodation from lodges to lakeside cottages or resorts, we can discuss with you the best plan and provide a budget to suit.
Overview
Adventure Alternative Kenya has its own vehicles – including large overland safari trucks – and all the equipment needed for any type of safari, plus wonderful staff who not only know their animals but are also really wonderful guides and companions for any holiday. Eva Muronji and Moses Kamau have run our safaris together for many years and they are a great team. The are great with families, helping with the children and making the whole experience fun and interactive.
We can create a programme that includes lots of activities for children, as well as the wildlife viewing, and we can advise and book some amazing places to stay, from homestays and cottages in the Rift Valley, to beach side villas, campsites in the bush, hotels and lodges in the reserves. If you want to go hot air ballooning, or on a walking safari, or hiking up extinct volcanoes or down into sandstone gorges, wake up to giraffe in the garden, relax by the sea, take the train across Tsavo, and much more – we have many years of experience in designing a holiday that fulfils all your visions of the perfect Kenyan safari.
Specialist groups are also our speciality, we organise study groups and we can advise and provide for people with special or particular needs. From photographers to conservationists, honeymooners to solo travellers, volunteers to gap years, we can assist.
Our connection with Moving Mountains Trust means also that your holiday provides support for beneficiaries in Kenya and we can arrange for you to visit and see the work of the NGO, which encompasses education, health, life skills and supporting schools with renovation and equipment.
