We welcome trekkers, climbers, volunteers, medical students and travellers to the Adventure Alternative guest house in Kathmandu where you can get quality home cooking, a warm welcome and great company in a secure environment with easy access to the likes of Thamel District, airport, local amenities, etc.
Most people only spend a few days here at most before heading up to the mountains to start organised treks or climbs but we do also accommodate longer stays in the capital, particularly for Medical Students who spend a minimum of 4 weeks on their Elective in one of the hospitals in Kathmandu.
In total, the guesthouse is composed of 5 fully furnished bedrooms (1 triple room and 4 twin rooms) and 3 bathrooms. Three of the rooms have a balcony. On the first floor, you will find three bedrooms: a triple room and two double rooms. There is one bathroom attached to the triple room and the two twin rooms share a bathroom.
On the second floor, a comfy common area and a balcony is at your disposal if you want to read, work on your computer or simply relax. Next to that, there are two twin rooms which share a bathroom.
